Prohibition Jazz feat. Soular Spill

The 1920s came in β€œwith a bang of bad booze, flappers with bare legs, jangled morals and wild weekends. The parties were bigger…the pace was faster…and the morals were looser.” Well, thankfully those days have passed, but in the spirit of those β€˜fleeting days of folly’, come along to Hotel Blue every Friday night in February for some Roaring 20s jazz & cocktails. This week Soular Spill will be coming along to celebrate the Roaring 20s.

Bringing infectious grooves and delightfully deep tunes, Soular Spill resounds with soul. Braced by a backbeat you can lean into, with vibrant performance from Sarah Jane Spillane on vocals and guitar, tasty licks from Colin Day on lead guitar, sultry sounds from Skye Evans on double bass, and swanky rhythms from Frank Corby on drums. Oozing with charm, sex appeal and humour, their fun repertoire flows through vintage jazz, broken-in blues, and their own sweet original tunes. With jazz and folk at its roots, Soular Spill is sure to brighten your night!

Join Soular Spill this Friday Night, 6:30-8:30 pm. Come along early if you want a seat as it’s first come, first served. Bar & Kitchen open, family-friendly, free event. Live music @ Hotel Blue is brought to you by ‘Music in the Mountains’.
