Honey Hive is a captivating jazz duo based in the Blue Mountains, led by the enchanting vocalist Kristina Frazer and the skillful guitarist Karl Javernig. Band History:
Formed through a shared love for jazz’s expressive storytelling, Honey Hive brings together Kristina’s powerful vocal storytelling with Karl’s intricate guitar work.

Honey Hive (they used to be Jazz Daiquiri) have been playing together for 3 years or so, all over the Blue Mountains including the Avalon Restaurant, Aunty Ed’s, Bootleggers, the Fairmont Resort, Two Doctors Whiskey Tavern, the Grandview Hotel, the Coronation Hotel in Portland & Alan Grammar Wine bar in Penrith.

Kristina, a seasoned performer with a background in vocal jazz, infuses each performance with an emotional depth that draws audiences in. Karl, an accomplished guitarist and arranger, has developed a unique style blending classical influences with jazz, which serves as a beautiful foundation for their collaborations. Since their formation, Honey Hive has performed at notable local venues, steadily building a following for their ability to connect with listeners through jazz’s classic repertoire.

Their recent performances include an intimate evening at Bowery Kitchen and Bar in Katoomba, where they’ll soon return on November 15, 2024, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
