The Mountains’ own travelling pianist, Matthew Dennett, is being joined by rising star, Bobby Harrison.

Matthew Dennett:
For over 10 years Matthew has been performing as a pianist in the Blue Mountains and Sydney surrounds. He was the resident pianist for the Carrington Hotel for 3.5 years, Springwood Sports Club for 2 years, The Rooster for 2 years and currently has a residency at Lillianfels Hotel in Katoomba which he has had for the past year. Matt’s has played with gypsy bands; The Spyglass Gypsies, Monsieur Camembert & The Squeezebox Trio. A lover of classical and jazz music he often combines the two when improvising over a popular tune to give a unique spin on things surprising the listener with a stride version of careless whispers or a classical version of She’s Always A Woman by Billy Joel. requests are always welcome.

Bobby Harrison:
At the age of 14, Bobby was a semi-finalist on Australia’s Got Talent and has performed on several TV stations in the Philippines in 2010 playing the trumpet. At last count, he could play 8 different instruments and is regarded as a ‘must watch’ talent for the future.

Come along this Saturday to Palais Royale from 5:30pm for ‘cocktail hour’ with the sensational talents of Matt and Bobby.
